Underground water tank in SE
Thanks to the overhead water tank and underground water tank, we can easily fulfil our daily needs of water without needing to carry water like in earlier times. Thus, it should come as no surprise that vastu shastra accounts it as well for both residential space or commercial space. Since vastu shastra is all about placing the right thing in the right zone, having the water tanks in the right place is essential.
In vastu shastra, we find reference of Panchatatva elements, which are the 5 primordial elements of nature. It constructs the universe and its elements and are counted as water, air, fire, earth and space. Since water tank holds water, it is common to assume that it represents water element.
Before you randomly put all water tanks in water zones, you should know that vastu principle does not work like that. There are two types of water tanks. While the underground water tanks are considered to represent water element, the overhead water tank represents the earth element.
You might know this by know that there are 16 zones in vastu and each one also represents one of these elements. The northern zones (north of north west, north, north of north east and north east) represent water element. To set balance, you must place any element in the respective zone.
Thus, the underground water tank must be placed in the northern zones only. If these are not free, you can also place it in the east zone, but south east zone is forbidden for it. Let us learn of the consequences that arises due to it and ways to correct it effectively.
